What is "Send me a receipt email"?
You have the option of receiving a receipt email when you send a message. The email reminds you who you sent your message to and when it expires. For security reasons it does NOT contain your actual message. Also there is a link to view the status of your message. You can see if the message has been read and can recall the message if you choose.
If you choose not to receive the receipt email, you can still view the message status at any time by clicking on the "Message Status" ("Status" on mobile devices) link at the top of any page. There you will be able to see the status of all active messages you have sent. This option does require you to enter your email address and password.
