About YEO

How secure is YEO?
The developers of YEO take the security of your data very seriously.

Your message is encrypted in transit to our server using SSL encryption. Then the message is encrypted again on our server using a key that only the recipient has. No one else but your recipient can decode this message. Not us not anyone.

The delivery email created by YEO contain a custom link that gives your recipients temporary access to only the message you intend for the time period and number of reads you specify. After the time period the message is destroyed. They are not allowed to forward the email to anyone else. If they do that person will NOT be able to read the message.

The main features of YEO are that these messages are never saved or archived past the expiration date and that the recipient can't forward your message on to someone else you didn't intend to read your message.

The message is created such that they can't copy and paste the text.

The message is created such that if they print the page the message will not be printed.

Can they do a screen capture? Can they take a picture of the screen with a camera? Yes, no system is completely foolproof.

For the best privacy you can follow these additional steps to make taking a picture almost useless as well. Like you would in a text message do NOT indicate the person's name that you are sending the message to and do not add your name to the message. Remember all that information is already in the email so it is unnecessary.

Your Eyes Only is designed such that there is only a loose connection between the email and the message. It is the intent of the system that once the message is deleted it would not be possible to match up a given message to the email address or a given sender or recipient.
